Stopping through Augsburg 2

One other thing on the Fuggerei.  It was bombed in 1944 and then re-built.  They preserved the bomb shelter, that seemed to be extremely well built and organized, and in it had a historical presentation of pre-war, the war years, and post-war.  As we are finding with most places in Germany, they deal with this head-on, making no excuses.  Here are two of the items describing Augsburg during the 1930s (one set of photos, and one description of the photos).  I'll probably have more to say about this if I'm able to write about our visit to the exhibit at the rally grounds in Nuremberg.
